THREE QUICK HABITS TO LOSE FAT!
HYDRATE
Drinking enough water will benefit the body by helping it
work optimally. We must try to drink up to 2 liters. A way to start is by beginning
your day with a glass of water. You can start by drinking at least 8 oz. of water
before each meal and work up to your optimal water intake.
SLEEP
Getting 7 to 8 hours of uninterrupted sleep will help
regulate your metabolism and keep you healthy. You will look and feel better. You
will have the energy you need to conquer your day. If falling a sleep is difficult
for you, you should eliminate screen time an hour before bed. The light from
your cell phone, computer or TV all causes you to feel awake. It is also a good
idea to drink a relaxing tea. If that is not enough, you can also take
melatonin at 5mg. This will aid in quality sleep.
WALK
High intensity training is great, but many people underestimate the power of walking. If your goal is to lose weight and keep it off, start by just walking. A quick 30-minute walk daily can make an enormous difference. The important part here is discipline. Do it every day even when you don't feel like it. Once that is your new normal you can add more time, or incline to make it more challenging.
Hello Lesley, thank you providing those great tips on how to lose fat. Recently this year, fitness and health has became more important in my life. With the tips you provided, they are very essential to see optimal progress. I feel like everyone should at least do one heavy lift workout each week. I feel like it is therapeutic and great for mental health. Plus you also feel better about your body.
