A little bit about me, I have always been active, but I have not always been healthy. It has been a long journey into self acceptance, but I can finally say I love myself. My fitness journey began unknowingly motivated from a place of self hate and discontent. I would spend hours picking myself apart and comparing myself to other women. Scrolling Instagram would defeat me. I would spend years in this unhealthy loop of self hate and comparison.
I am now sure that I am not the only one that has gone through this. My goal is to inspire authentic mental change, which will in turn grant long lasting fitness results. A healthy lifestyle should be everyone's main goal, it should never be motivated by the desire to be a specific beauty standard. It is because I understand that this is easier said than done that my space will be devoted to healthy loving habits that will help my readers gain the confidence they need to conquer their goals. The main takeaway here is a healthy lifestyle begins with a healthy mindset. Clean your life of all that is weighing you down. Clean your environment, an organized room reflects an organized mind. Clean your socials, get rid of apps that do not bring value into your life or delete the accounts that make you feel unworthy. And most importantly clean your social circle, surround yourself with people that will help you thrive and not bring you down. You know who they are, create distance and you will be greatly benefited. Understand that this is a lifestyle change that will be worth it. It is the compounding effect of these small changes that will dramatically change your life overtime. A healthier happier you is waiting.
